Redesigning education for neurodivergent children and the families who love them.
Every family deserves an education path that works for them. We work with children who've switched off from learning, through one-to-one and group tutoring, flexi-schooling and home education. Our evidence-informed Connect-Ed Method draws on emotional regulation, cognitive development and play to help children find their desire to learn again.

We Believe in Children
Not in fixing them or managing their behaviour, but in recognising their capacity to grow when the right conditions are in place.
Roots & Wings was built on a simple observation: traditional education isn't built around how neurodivergent children learn. A one-size-fits-all pace, constant testing, rigid classroom routines. These work well enough for some children. For others, they slowly chip away at confidence, until anxiety and disengagement take its place.
We think education can be designed more intelligently. The Connect-Ed Method puts managing emotions, emotional development and feeling safe with the people around them at the centre of learning, not as add-ons but as the foundation everything else is built on.
Because when a child feels calm, understood and genuinely engaged, progress starts to hold. It stops being a battle. That is the work.

Your Four-Step Journey
A clear, pressure-free path to finding the right support for your child.
First, we help them feel safe
Nothing sinks in while a child feels anxious or on edge. So we start by helping yours feel calm, settled and genuinely at ease with us — because a relaxed child is a child who's ready to take things in.
Then we build their belief
So many children have quietly decided they're "no good" at something. We gently rebuild that, growing the confidence and self-belief that makes a child want to have a go, even at the things they've found hard before.
Now the real learning grows
With a settled, willing child, teaching finally does what it's meant to. We build the skills — maths, phonics, reading, thinking, problem-solving — through the ways children learn best, at a pace that's theirs and never forced.
And it stays with them
Because it's rooted in something deeper than pressure and repetition, the change tends to last. Children don't just catch up, they carry a new relationship with learning into everything they do next.
